Oatmeal for Breakfast

For as many years as I can remember, I never could eat a breakfast before 10am unless it was prepared by someone else. Just something to do about the smell that turned me off. When Jeremy and Kristi were growing up, it was always cold cereal that started their day thru the school years. I still can't do the egg and bacon thing early, but since starting work again, I have found eating oatmeal at 7am isn't bad. I use those fruit and cream oatmeal packets and just microwave for a minute and presto-hot oatmeal! I have also found that I don't get the urge to munch on something during the morning, especially my chocolates. I'm content to wait until noontime to eat again. By eating the oatmeal, hopefully I'm also in control of that colesteral thing although it's never been a health issue yet. So, if anyone out there is like me, TRY fruit & cream oatmeal!! And by the way Steve, are you still having chocolate cake and ice cream for breakfast?

Please don't talk about choc. cake and ice cream!!!!! I'm on the South Bitch Diet, I mean South Beach Diet!!! You know that's then one that for 2 weeks you can't have any bread, sugar, cereals or CHOC. CAKE!! Actually I am into week 2 and it hasn't been too bad. I actually think I am getting over my cravings for bread and choc. I just hope it continues. The nice part is that I can eat all the seafood I can. So.....looks like I will do ok when in Mazatlan with some other people I know!! Hope all is going well with everyone. Emily will keep you posted on my dilemas with my computers! Seems like it is all a security issue that Chuck will have to work on during Easter. For now, take care! Love to you all. jennifer

Oh and Becky, Chuck loves to eat oatmeal!! He is also watching his cholesterol (he's gone to the dr. 2 times and his cholesterol and blood pressure are high!) As for me....I stick to my eggs in the morning!!! Good protein to pass on to Allison! However my dilemma is being on the kick of making chocolate chip cookies!! My excuse is I make them for Chuck to take into work....after I tuck a few into a container....just for home!!!
